Jaco. Despite the fact that this species of parrots has a nondescript color, it is easily compensated by the ability to talk. After just a few workouts, the parrot begins to speak words, and then phrases. Jaco can reach 100 words in vocabulary, and from the whole variety of human speech, a parrot independently chooses what needs to be said in a given situation.

Who is easier to train - female or male

As a result of numerous experiments that have been done with parrots of various species, scientists have found that males are the most trained. Confirmation of this fact is the example of Pak budgerigar, whose vocabulary consists of 1770 words. Of course, it was possible to teach him such a large number of words over several years, but history does not yet know a single female parrot who could pronounce more than 30 words. The only exception is the Australian parrot.

1. Before setting a goal to train a parrot to talk, enter into a trusting relationship with a bird. She should calmly, without fear go into your arms, meet you with friendly chirping. You must become a real friend to her.
2. It should be understood that it is impossible to train a parrot in human speech, starting lessons only when you want. Randomly, without a pre-scheduled time, you will not achieve any success.
