Paraffin therapy is considered to be a unique procedure. It gained wide popularity in Europe, the USA and, of course, Russia. Thanks to its universal composition, paraffin fights various diseases of the skin, saturates the epidermis with moisture, heals cracks and wounds. Like any other case, the use of paraffin for hands has its own characteristics that must be considered. Consider the technology of preparing baths step by step, highlight the main aspects, give practical recommendations.
Useful properties of paraffin for hands
- Paraffin has a low heat conductivity, due to this it slowly cools, warming the skin.
- Experts recommend using paraffin in conjunction with a moisturizing hand cream. Due to the fact that the product expands the pores, the skin absorbs nutrients better. For this reason, the dermis is hydrated several times faster, blood circulation is restored, and cell regeneration occurs.
- In “paraffin gloves”, the skin of the hands begins to sweat intensively, but the cosmetic product does not allow the liquid to evaporate. As a result, tissues are saturated with oxygen, the dermis becomes more elastic.
- Along with sweat, the epidermis is cleansed of excess toxins and poisons that accumulate in the pores. Heavy substances are removed together with the “paraffin glove”, because they settle on the surface.
- After applying paraffin baths, the skin of the hands becomes shiny, smooth and soft. If you carry out the procedure with a moisturizing / nourishing cream, the effect will last up to 5 days.
- Many people have wrinkles in their skin. When you apply paraffin, in the process of solidification, it tightens the dermis, smoothing creases. The same applies to microcracks and wounds; they heal 3 times faster.
- Paraffin baths have a good effect not only on the skin of the hands, but also on the nails. Especially useful procedure is considered for people who have a laminated plate, there are burrs and wounds in the area of the cuticle.
