Nasolabial wrinkles appear due to insufficient facial skin care for a long time. In addition, the main factor in the formation of such a defect is considered to be the effect of ultraviolet radiation, an improperly selected pillow for sleeping, smoking and drinking, and the use of low-quality decorative cosmetics. All factors together lead to creases of the upper layers of the epidermis, which are not so easy to remove. Experts advise taking an integrated approach, which we will talk about today.
Practical recommendations
- Review your daily diet. Include fresh fruits and vegetables, seasonal berries, juices based on these products in the menu. Such components are natural antioxidants, they remove poisons from the dermis, increase the production of collagen and elastin.
- Take the habit of drinking at least 2.5 liters of filtered water per day. At the same time, also lean on fresh juices, home-made compotes without sugar, green and herbal tea. If you forget to drink fluid, download an application on your smartphone that will remind you of this. Most importantly, do not drink drinks later than 1-1.5 hours before bedtime to avoid the appearance of edema.
- Gradually unlearn your sleep on your stomach. This situation contributes to the formation of cracks and creases, worsens the condition of the skin, causes fluid to accumulate in the cheeks. Also, if you are used to sleeping on one particular side, wrinkles will be asymmetric. It is important to choose the right pillow for relaxation, its height in a compressed position should not exceed the mark of 10 cm.
- Regularly renew your skin using peels and scrubs. Abrasive particles will get rid of dead cells, as a result of which the epidermis will receive a sufficient amount of oxygen. Also, the use of tightening serums and creams, which include collagen and alpha acids, will not be out of place.
- Do not abuse tanning beds, use protective equipment, or expose your skin to direct UV rays. The same applies to regular sunbathing, wear a wide-brimmed hat, apply a protective cream on the face with a maximum barrier.
- As a basic skin care product, use natural oils in combination with esters. The first component includes peach, sea buckthorn, vegetable, corn, castor, burdock, olive oil. As a second ingredient, give preference to lavender, geranium, citrus fruit, ginseng, and peppermint esters.
- It is important to remember forever that the basis of getting rid of nasolabial folds is considered to be the use of face masks in combination with a set of exercises (face-lifting). The main thing is to perform simple manipulations with frequent intervals, do not be lazy.
Masks for nasolabial folds
As mentioned earlier, masks are the main component in the process of getting rid of unwanted wrinkles. Moreover, the composition can be used not only to eliminate creases in the nose, but also on other parts of the face.
Specifically, in your situation, the duration of the course should not be less than 3 months. After this period, you need to take a break for a period of 10-14 days, and then resume therapy. As for the frequency of use, if possible prepare masks every other day.
When you achieve the desired result, do not stop supporting the skin in good shape. Use the following recipes once every 5-7 days as a preventative measure.
- Bran and lemon. Wash citrus with running water, treat it with baking soda to remove complex contaminants.Pass the zest through a meat grinder / blender, squeeze the juice from the fruit, pour 35 g to it. flax or rye bran, mix. Combine the zest with chicken protein, whisk with a whisk, pour 5 g. gelatin. Wait for the mixture to swell, then mix the two compounds together. Make a mask over the entire area of the face or locally, covering only the problem area. If desired, top with a gauze cloth or cling film, leave for half an hour.
- Flour and turmeric. Beat with a mixer two quail eggs, pour 45 g. wheat flour and 20 gr. ground turmeric, add 5 ml. any natural oil. Mix the mass, bringing it to a pasty consistency. Put on face, wait a quarter of an hour. After this period, do not rush to rinse. Carefully work out the nasolabial folds, gently stretching them to the sides (to the temples). Then rub the mixture in a circular motion for 5 minutes, rinse with cool water. Wipe the dermis with ice cubes.
- Clay and honey. Get pink, black, green, blue, white clay in a pharmacy. Take 20 gr. each composition, dilute with warm milk according to the instructions, so that a pasty mass is obtained. Grate 1/3 of the grapefruit zest on a grater, and pass the fruit through a blender. Combine the peel and pulp in one composition, add 7 gr. edible gelatin, 20 gr. liquid honey, leave for 15 minutes. When the mixture is completely swollen, connect all available components together. Make a mask, wait until it dries completely, remove the leftovers and wash with warm water.
- Potatoes and sour cream. Wash one middle tuber of young potato, grate it or pass through a blender along with the peel. Add 30 gr. oat or wheat flour, 45 gr. fat sour cream, 6 gr. gelatin. Leave the mixture to fully swell (10-20 minutes), then mash it with a fork. Wash your face with a cleansing mousse, steam out the skin, and beat with your fingertips along the nasolabial wrinkles. When the face becomes pinkish, make a mask, wait 25 minutes, rinse.
- Kaolin and oatmeal. Pour boiling water over 35 g. fine or medium-sized oatmeal, add 20 gr. kaolin, 10 ml. fat heavy cream, 15 gr. honey. Squeeze the juice of half lime into the mixture, mix with a fork. If the composition is too thick, add 10 g. gelatin and wait until it swells. Spread the mixture in a dense layer on the area of nasolabial wrinkles, cover with gauze or bandage so that the composition does not drain. The exposure time varies between 15-30 minutes, it all depends on the individual type of epidermis.
Nasolabial Exercise
Perform a set of face-lifting exercises (gymnastics of the face) 2-3 times daily. At the same time, try to follow all recommendations in order to conduct the procedure as efficiently as possible.
- Sit straight, raise your chin to the ceiling, then move it to the side, straining the muscles of the neck. Open your mouth as wide as possible, try to grip your teeth with your lips. Move the lower jaw up and down for 1 minute. Follow 3 approaches.
- Puff out your cheeks with your teeth tightly closed. Start pressing with your palms, resisting your hands. Perform simple manipulations until the face muscles get tired. After this, take a break for 1 minute, repeat the action 5 times.
- Pull your cheeks inward to make your face look like a fish. Start tapping your fingers on the nasolabial folds, keeping their previous position. Follow the steps for 1 minute, then exhale and take another approach.
- Gather a small amount of air in your mouth, tighten your lips. Gather a ball of air in your cheeks, roll it from one cheek to another, first to the left side, then to the right. Walk under the lower lip, gradually moving to the upper. The duration of the exercise is 3 minutes.
- Tighten your lips, slightly open your mouth, lower the lower jaw down, resembling an anticorrosion. The upper lip at this time should cover the upper teeth.Hold at the lower end point for 30 seconds, smooth nasolabial wrinkles with your hands in the direction of the cheekbones.
- Close your lips, try to smile as wide as possible so that you feel pain in the cheekbones. Hold in this position for 20 seconds, fold your lips with a tube, wait half a minute. Repeat 10 times.
