It is difficult and long to fight it, but you need to engage in such a battle, because this enemy is very strong and is able to occupy the entire site.

Yes, of course, they guarantee inhibition of growth, but they can’t completely get rid of horseradish, and even more so from its 12-meter roots. Mechanical ways to get rid of horseradish

The most effective way to deal with horseradish is to mechanically - that is, dig it out. For this, it is better not to use a shovel. First of all, it cuts the rhizomes from which new and new shoots will climb, and secondly, it is more difficult to work with it than with special forks. This is due to the fact that more effort is needed to drive in the shovel plate than for similar actions with a pitchfork.

So, taking your inventory with you, go to the garden in early spring, as soon as the first green leaves climb out of the ground. They must be methodically excavated and carried away. It is important to pull out green leaves throughout the season, preventing it from growing into a powerful bush. Upon reaching the equator of summer, you should sprinkle places with the habitat of horseradish saltpeter. The essence of this method is that if you make fertilizers untimely by the standards of gardeners, you stimulate plant growth. It will begin to grow magnificently and “delight” the eye, and with the onset of the first frosts it will begin to die, because it just does not have time to gain strength for wintering, since all the energy went into the green mass, and you just need it.
