Any tan is sooner or later washed off, so you need to have female tricks with which you can save it. Consider the important aspects in order.
Before embarking on a full-blown tanning operation, it is important to understand what it is. Under the influence of ultraviolet rays, the body produces melanin, which protects the epidermis from destruction. Melanin, in turn, stimulates the production of vitamin D3, which strengthens the immune system and the circulatory system. Together, these components form a seductive brown tint. A tan should not be harmful to health; in the absence of contraindications, it will last much longer.
Contraindications to tanning
- Exposure to sunlight is strictly contraindicated to persons who take antibiotics. You can sunbathe after a month after the end of taking the drugs.
- You should refrain from sun exposure if you have recently received chemotherapy.
- People taking photosensitizers run the risk of getting excessive skin pigmentation.
- It is forbidden to take sunbathing to persons whose genetics suggests the appearance of melanoma (malignant formations of the skin).
- People with cancer, dermatosis, lupus, and neurasthenia are more at risk than others.
Important!
Keep track of the time during which you are in the sun. At the slightest rash, neoplasm, excessive pigmentation and premature aging of the skin, consult a doctor and temporarily stop sunbathing.
If you notice a violation of the heart and unstable blood pressure, take sunburn extremely seriously, do not abuse it.
Not everyone knows that they are allergic to the sun. If you start sneezing constantly and notice watery bubbles, hide in the shade as soon as possible.
How to keep a tan for a long time
Preventive action
Before headlong to run to sunbathe, you need to prepare the body. Rub the skin with a washcloth, treat with a gentle peeling or scrub to remove dead skin particles. Drink 350 ml. freshly squeezed carrot juice with two slices of orange, wait 20 minutes and feel free to go on vacation. You should not constantly be under the scorching sun, once every half an hour, get into the shade for 15 minutes to restore the skin.
Take care of your skin
When in the sun and, as a result, getting a tan, the epidermis loses a lot of fluid, so you need to moisturize it regularly. Otherwise, the skin will begin to peel off, and along with the keratinized cells, the tan will disappear. Use special creams and lotions that are designed to care for your face and body after sunbathing. It is not recommended to use products that include dairy products, cucumber, lemon, parsley, celandine and other whitening components.
Prefer natural-based creams with liquid protein and natural oils. Of course, homemade masks perfectly enrich the epidermis, but for the most part they all have a brightening effect. If you didn’t have the appropriate funds at hand, treat the skin with vegetable or olive oil, leave it for 10 minutes, then wipe it with a paper towel. It is not forbidden to use tanning when the skin begins to fade. It will saturate the color and even out the shade.
Balance your diet
Include beta-carotene-rich foods in your daily menu. It prevents the appearance of neoplasms, smoothes, moisturizes and protects the skin from burns. In addition, the natural component fights premature skin aging and retains melanin.
Beta-carotene is an orange-colored plant pigment, due to which the tan acquires a golden hue. It can be found in the following fruits: pumpkin, apricot, peach, passion fruit, melon. From vegetables, we select carrots, basil, sweet potatoes, parsley, spinach.
Try to eat more vegetables and fruits of red, yellow and orange. They contain lycopene, which helps melanin to be produced in an accelerated mode.
Do not forget about vitamin E, which can be found in cereals, natural oils, nuts. It protects the epidermis from the rotation of free radicals, preserving youthful skin, and accelerates the regenerative functions of cells.
As for amino acids, they also activate the influx of melanin. The most common representatives of this group are tyrosine and tryptophan, which are found in protein products (eggs, lean meat, fish, green vegetables, banana, soy, nuts).
To prevent dry and peeling skin, eat foods rich in selenium. These include garlic, broccoli, pork pulp, cabbage, seafood, butter, sour cream, coconut.
A balanced diet is the key to a long tan. Cook salads with the addition of olive or vegetable oil, eat meat and fish for a couple. Refuse salty and spicy dishes, eat less sweets and flour.
Drink 2.5 liters of fluid daily. It can be pure water, homemade fruit drinks, freshly squeezed juices, herbal tea. Be careful with green tea; it leaches calcium from bones. In the summer, it is worth increasing fluid intake to 3 liters to restore the water balance of the skin and the body as a whole.
