Little kids love making plasticine figurines. You should not scold your children or forbid them to pick up plasticine, it develops motor skills well. To cope with this, at first glance, a difficult problem is not difficult if you know some rules.

How to wash and remove plasticine from clothes

Do not try to immediately wash plasticine in hot water, especially in a washing machine. Its basis is paraffin and wax, which harden successfully when frozen. Based on this:

1. Put the spoiled clothes in the freezer, or lean a piece of ice against the affected area. Plasticine may separate from the tissue.
2. If nothing happened, try to scrape it off with a knife blade, while being careful not to cut the fabric. After this, spots can be left that are easily removed.

How to remove clay from hair

This is a problem! And imagine how difficult it is for the mother, whose daughter with long hair “decorated” them with plasticine. The boy can just be trimmed. Choose one of the tips of experienced parents:

1. Flannel fabric in the direction from the roots to the ends of the hair, try to remove the main pieces of plasticine, only with dry hair! Be careful not to hurt the child. Then rinse your hair thoroughly with shampoo.
2. Use sunflower or burdock oil, it effectively softens plasticine, which is then easily removed from the hair with clean napkins. After this, you will have to repeatedly wash your hair with shampoo, but the game is worth the candle. You can drip a little lemon juice, then the fat is washed off more easily.
3. In mild cases, you can wash your hair with balm or rinse, then the hair is easily combed, and with the help of a frequent comb, you will clean out the remnants of clay.

How to remove clay from wallpaper

You will not be able to keep up with the wallpaper for your child, and there can be not only paints, pencils and traces of food intake, worse when the wallpaper is covered with plasticine. Do not worry, this problem is also easily fixed:

1. Using a spatula, carefully remove the top layer of plasticine, especially protruding above the surface, do not reach the very base of the wallpaper.
2. Heat the remaining traces with a hairdryer, periodically wetting the clay with a napkin. Hot temperature softens it, then porous paper absorbs residues well. Repeat the operation until victorious.
3. Wash the results of your work with a sponge dampened in a concentrated soap solution, just make sure that water does not flow from it with a stream, squeeze it carefully before applying to the wallpaper.
4. Dry the wallpaper with a hairdryer to its original appearance, but do not dry it.
