How to wash a dog at home

Dogs can do without swimming for a long time. At the same time, four-legged friends have a passion for water, swimming with pleasure in the sea, lake or river. How to wash a dog

The procedure for washing a dog is considered quite complicated, it includes a number of aspects that must be considered. Consider the important features in order.

1. First you need to prepare warm water (the best indicator is 40 degrees). The dog can be bathed in a basin or in the bath; in any case, a lot of water will be required. Use a bucket or watering can to facilitate wetting. Prepare towels, shampoo in advance.
2. When preparation is complete, moisten the dog’s coat with plenty of water. If animal shampoo is used for washing, apply it directly to the hairline, rubbing it thoroughly.
3. To facilitate the procedure, dilute the shampoo with water to make a dense foam. Such a move will allow more thorough processing of the wool, in addition, the diluted composition is better washed off.
4. Soap foam is applied to the entire back of the dog and rubbed well into the coat. After that, the legs, tail, neck and stomach are processed. The head is washed last, while it is important to ensure that the composition does not get into the ears and eyes.
5. During washing, do not forget to clean the hairline around the anus of the animal, wash the genitals. The procedure is performed only with warm (!) Water using shampoo.
6. After the shampoo is applied, soak it for about 3-5 minutes, then rinse with water. Next, you need to lather the wool a second time, soak, rinse.
7. Particular attention is paid to rinsing with water. Begin to clean the cleanser from the head, then from the back, neck and chest. When the water stops foaming, rinse your stomach and legs. Help yourself with your hands, crushing the wool and pushing the foam down.
8. After washing off the shampoo, dry the dog. Collect excess moisture with a terry cloth, change a wet towel dry as it soaks. After wiping, wrap the animal with a dry cloth, leave to dry completely.
9. If desired, you can use a hairdryer, setting a gentle temperature and low revs. If your dog is a show person, it is very important to teach her to dry and style with this appliance.
10. Be sure to treat the hairline with a special rinse conditioner. To use the product correctly, apply the gel in the palm of your hand, rub into the coat from length to tip. Rinse the composition after 5 minutes with warm water.
11. The coat of dogs of short-haired breeds is wiped in another way. Mix together 300 ml. warm water, 30 ml. vodka and 25 ml. table vinegar (concentration of 6%). Moisten a sponge or cloth in the composition, wring out, walk along the surface of the hairline.
12. To eliminate the smell of "dog", wipe the pet's hair with burdock or wormwood leaves. Besides the fact that you remove the stench, the hair will become lush and shiny. However, you cannot use grass that grows along a road or track. It contains a lot of dirt and synthetic chemicals.

How to wash a dog without water

It is not uncommon for four-legged friends to bathe in the usual way through the use of shampoo and water. Animals aged can catch a cold, and in individuals with eczema, the disease develops many times faster.

Also, if the pet has recently undergone surgery, the seams should not be allowed to come in contact with moisture. More simple reasons include the fact that even adult dogs are hysterically afraid of water. In this case, there is only one thing left - dry bathing.

Experienced housewives, through trial and error, have developed an effective means of combating pollution. For the procedure, you need to purchase ordinary talcum powder (baby powder without fragrances). If desired, you can use the composition with chamomile, it perfectly disinfects the skin.

The technology of use is quite transparent: distribute a large amount of the composition on the skin and coat, rub the mixture for 10 minutes. After that comb out the hairline with a comb and let the dog shake it off. To facilitate the procedure, use a hair dryer (cold blowing), it will easily remove the rest of the composition.
