Step number 1. Brewing espresso
As mentioned earlier, cappuccino is a mixture of soft milk foam and a base - pure black coffee, or espresso.

You can carry out the procedure in a Turk, coffee maker or cezve, it all depends on what you have at hand. The difficulty may lie in the selection of grain, you need a composition marked "100% arabica".

In the case of a coffee machine, special difficulties should not arise: pour ground coffee into the compartment, pour in water, wait for the result.

If you decide to brew espresso in a Turk, make ground coffee of medium roast (grade 3-4), pour a little water. Put on a slow fire, simmer for 3 minutes, then transfer the burner to medium power.

Do not allow coffee to boil, otherwise the drink will begin to bitter. Observe the contents, when the foam appears, remove the Turk from the stove.

Wait until the foam drops, then put the appliance on fire again. Repeat simple manipulations 4-7 times. The more procedures you perform, the stronger the espresso will be.

Step number 2. Cooking foam
The best option for making foam is whipping natural whole milk. However, many barists do not adhere to this technology, mixing a dairy product with heavy cream. You can do the same.

In order not to have difficulty whipping milk into a dense thick foam, choose a product with a high degree of fat content. If your coffee machine is equipped with a tap for whipping milk, use it.

Those who are not so lucky can beat milk with a whisk, a mixer, a French press, a blender, pre-heating it. You may have to make some effort, but it's worth it. The output should be a thick foam without large bubbles.

If after whipping the foam begins to fall off, it means that you did not complete the procedure. Follow the steps 2-3 more times until the product assumes the desired density. When this happens, tap the bottom of the container on a flat surface so that the large bubbles rise up and burst.

Step number 3. The process of combining espresso with foam
Prepare a ceramic or porcelain bowl in advance in which your drink will be located. Rinse the container with cool boiling water based on filtered water, the mug should be hot.

Transfer the espresso there, so that the container is filled by 2/3, wait 1 minute. Take a bowl with foam, scoop up the whipped composition with a spoon and carefully lay it on top of black coffee. At will, you can keep the ratio 1: 1, but this is not for everybody. After adding foam, in no case do not mix the contents.

  4. You can mix cappuccino with alcoholic drinks such as rum, liquor, cognac or whiskey. These ingredients intervene until the foam combines with espresso, that is, they pour into black coffee.

  3. After heating, whip the cream into a thick foam in a convenient way (whisk, blender, mixer, etc.). Pour the composition into the bowl with espresso, move along the edge of the container.
  4. Sprinkle sugar on top (you can use vanilla) and chocolate chips.

How to make cappuccino with cinnamon

The main feature of preparing a drink of this kind is the optimal ratio of ground cinnamon to the main components. It is important to clearly follow the instructions and not exceed the proportions, otherwise the cappuccino will turn out to be sugary.

  3. In a separate mug, pour instant coffee in one standard portion, then add the same amount of coffee to get a full espresso.
  4. Pour granulated sugar (preferably cane) based on your taste. Now add 10-15 ml. boiling water for better dissolution of the granules, mix. If the granules do not dissolve well, dilute them more strongly with water.
  5. Pour in a mug of hot, not boiled milk, do not exceed the amount, so as not to suppress the taste of coffee. The stronger the invigorating drink, the more milk you will need, and vice versa. In cases where you prefer cold coffee, you do not need to warm the milk.
  6. Pour in a small amount of cream while stirring the product. You will see how the foam begins to rise, after this moment stir the coffee in the mug with two teaspoons.
