How much should a child sleep?

- Stroll. This is one of the main guarantees of good appetite and good sleep. Go out for a couple of hours before the expected dinner. Mom can combine the baby’s walk with shopping, utilities and other things. You can simply go to the playground so that the baby runs, plays with peers. Fresh air and active games will do their job - the baby will certainly tire and will want to sleep. After that, the main thing is to quickly come home, change clothes, wash your hands and sit down at the table.
- Hearty meal. Often a child refuses to sleep because he wants to eat. This happens with children who bite together between breakfast and lunch. If the baby is constantly running around with a cookie, then with an apple, he will surely refuse soup. And by the time he goes to bed, he will be either hungry or fed up. Therefore, you should not feed the child before lunch, no additional fuel during the walk. And then the crumb will die the soup offered after the walk for both cheeks. And after a hearty dinner relies what? Right, sleep!

How to put a baby to sleep during the day
To sleep was long and healthy, for this you need to create some conditions.

- The situation during daytime sleep should be calm, quiet. No sharp and loud noises from which the child can wake up.

- The condition of the bedding is very important. The mattress should be moderately soft, comfortable. The pillow should be used only after two years of age. The sheet and duvet cover should be made of natural materials, such as cotton.
- Before you put the child to bed, bring him a drink, put him on the potty. You must foresee everything that he may need in advance. If you have any rituals before going to bed - fine. You can scratch the baby back, stroke the nose, give him a drink of milk. Performing such rituals daily will help the baby to associate action with sleep.
- Reading books helps some children fall asleep. Favorite book, learned almost by heart, often becomes a kind of signal of going to bed. But reading should not be enthusiastic, but monotonous, quiet, so that the baby falls asleep faster.
- Many children go to sleep with their favorite toys, do not resist this. But remember that it can be a typewriter, a teddy bear or a doll. Lego or the constructor in bed will only play your baby by driving away sleep.
- It happens that a mother plans important things for the upcoming dream of a child. She expects the baby to fall asleep soon, and she will do the planned work. If the baby slept for more than half of the usual sleep time and no longer wants to go to bed, do not force him. Just entertain the baby, offer him something to drink or eat to smooth out memories from an unpleasant awakening.
