How to store a motorcycle in winter: useful tips

It is generally accepted that a motorcycle belongs to a more “gentle” technique than a car. Due to weather conditions, bikers cannot use an iron horse all year round, as a result of which they are forced to “conserve” it for a period of inactivity. To keep the equipment in proper condition, it is necessary to have sufficient knowledge regarding the specifics of conservation. Stage number 1. Storage location choice

1. The main aspect of conservation is the choice of a room with an optimal temperature regime. As a rule, the indicator should vary between 12-16 degrees. Stage number 2. Gasoline preservation

4. In the case of two-stroke engines, the product is poured directly into the carburetor inlet, while the engine should work. The duration of spraying is about 12-15 seconds, not longer. If necessary, maintain the throttle stick so that the engine does not stall until the end of the procedure.

Stage number 5. Silicone Parts Processing

1. During the processing period of the engine, all parts dried out after washing, it was time to process them with silicone. This includes rubber bands, gaskets, electrical wiring, swivel joints.
