In addition, the seeds of this variety are characterized by a long and often incomplete germination.

• serum with iodine;
• mullein.

High-quality organic soil fertilization in the autumn period will help to avoid the need to feed cucumbers in the process of their growth. However, an overabundance of minerals can adversely affect the taste characteristics of the crop. Excess nitrogen leads to deformation of the fruit.

Bush formation

When growing a hybrid, the formation of a bush is not required, due to the slow growth of the lashes. Extra processes must be cut off with a secateurs. In greenhouse conditions, vertical growth of lashes is inherent. During the ripening period, the lashes are tied to the base of the greenhouse.

The harmful insects that this type of cucumber can attack are spider mites and slugs. It is easy to deal with them, for this, in the autumn, you should dig a site and let it freeze. Such a procedure will solve the problems of pest larvae, since they will die along with weeds.

In cases where it is necessary to eliminate insects already during the growth period of cucumbers, you should use onions and garlic, the smell of which repels insects. In addition, sowing dill between the rows of cucumbers will be an effective way.

Due to its hybrid origin, this colonel is unpretentious in leaving, gives a rich harvest. It has incomplete germination, however, this drawback is offset by a large number of fruits and their excellent taste.
