Early ripe pepper Allar received many high marks and positive characteristics. Recommended for cultivation in open ground and greenhouses. Ripens 3 months after the appearance of the first seedlings. Has a long fruiting period. Differs in high productivity - from one square meter it is possible to collect up to 10-12 kg of fruits.
Small bushes reach a height of 40-50cm, do not require garter. The process of forming a bush is to remove leaves and stepsons. The variety is quite resistant to the appearance of tobacco mosaic, which is dangerous for peppers.
Fruit Description
The dense large fruit has a cuboid shape. In the ripening stage, it acquires an attractive orange hue. The weight of the peppers reaches 200-235 g.
It has a pleasant taste, there is no bitterness. The walls of the fetus are quite thick - about 7-9 mm. They are consumed fresh, and also used for the preparation of various preparations and as an ingredient in many dishes.
Cultivation Features
- Sowing pre-soaked seeds for seedlings is approximately 2 months before planting seedlings in greenhouses or open ground. For planting, choose a special soil mixture. To stimulate germination, seeds are treated with Zircon solution. The temperature in the room where the seedlings are located should not fall below + 23- + 28 degrees. Low temperatures, as well as high, negatively affect the germination and growth of pepper.
- Containers with seedlings are covered with a film or glass. Under favorable conditions, about three weeks pass from the day of sowing until the first seedlings appear.
- As soon as leaflets appear on Allar's seedlings, they can be transplanted into separate small containers. It should be remembered that after transplanting the peppers will cease to grow actively for a while. To make the adaptation process as easy as possible, you can spray the plants with a growth stimulator.
- Seedlings provide regular watering, but do not fill. Large amounts of moisture can cause illness. Calcium nitrate is periodically used for top dressing.
- Tanks with seedlings are placed on the sunny side.
Transplanting into the ground and leaving
As soon as the peppers grow and get stronger, and the earth warms up enough, plants can be transplanted into the ground. Some gardeners transplant seedlings in May immediately into the open ground, while others planted in greenhouses or under cover material. Planting time and conditions of young plants depends on the climatic conditions of the region. Allar pepper is very sensitive to temperature changes, so greenhouses are the most favorable place for its cultivation.
On one square meter of land, it is recommended to plant 5-6 seedlings. The rhizome in peppers is rather weak, it easily breaks, so the transplant is done as carefully as possible, trying to arrange the bush in the hole just as it grew in the container. Since peppers do not give side roots like tomatoes, there is no need to deepen them during transplantation so that there is no slowdown in the growth of shrubs.
The landing site must be chosen on a well-consecrated area protected from the wind. Plants need regular watering, as well as weeding while loosening the soil. This will facilitate rapid adaptation to new conditions and good growth and development of vegetables.
It takes about ten days for the seedlings to take root well. Then it is advisable to feed her with mineral fertilizers. Top dressing is done every 10-15 days. For these purposes, use a mixture of superphosphate, urea and potassium fertilizer, which is diluted in a bucket of water. For each bush, 1 cup of diluted fertilizer is required.
At the end of July, flowers and buds are cut off, leaving only ovaries. Pinch the ends of the branches to stop their growth. These measures will allow you to get a good harvest of large fruits. Otherwise, the peppers will be small.
Pests and diseases
Allar pepper is most susceptible to aphid attack, which is very difficult to fight. For prevention, before planting seedlings, the earth is steamed. To destroy pests, solutions of "Fitoverm" or "Healthy Garden" are used, with which bushes are sprayed every 2-3 weeks. These products are safe for both humans and animals.
For the prevention of diseases, Allar pepper is recommended to be sprayed with a solution of a mixture of “Tsitovita”, “Epina” and “Zircon” (2 drops of each drug per 1 liter of water), and also the ground should be treated with a solution of “Fitosporin”.
