Description

1. Otherwise, the discussed variety of the mushroom family is called the double dictophore, as well as a lady with a veil. Setonoska is attributed to the phallus family and the genus merry. This type of fruiting bodies is characterized by one feature, which consists in two-phase development. Each phase has its own characteristics.
2. Mushrooms begin to grow in a kind of rounded base, in which there is a jelly-like vague mass. In this jelly, the rudiments of the apex and legs of the fruit body are already present. First, this sphere is egg-shaped or in the format of a cylinder. It rises above the soil and is 7 cm in diameter. The shell turns white, a little later becomes yellow or turns brown. Then there is a rupture into 2-3 blades, a fruiting body emerges from a kind of cocoon.
3. The hat is pigmented in olive color, it is mucous, the structure is cellular, in the format of a cone. When the fruiting body crawls to the surface, it smells like carrion, this stench repels people and spreads throughout the area (subject to the growth of mushrooms in large quantities). Despite the fact that the smell is vile for humans, it attracts insects. The hat reaches a height of 4 cm. With a diameter of 3-5 cm. In the upper part there is a so-called disk-shaped gap.
4. A veil falls from the edges of the hat, which covers the leg to the middle of the height or to the soil itself. This veil has rounded cells that are almost equal in diameter. Initially, the mesh is whitish, but later acquires a pigment beige with a pinkish tint. It can turn green, especially in the dark. The foot is porous like a sponge in the cylinder format. Expands in the middle, becoming barrel-shaped. It extends up to 20 cm in length. On average, with a diameter of 2.5 cm.
5. As for similar varieties of other fruiting bodies, according to its external data, this fungus is similar to a hadrian fungus, an ordinary funky and bell-shaped dictiophore.

Spread

1. Discussed fruiting bodies in most cases mainly live in mixed and deciduous bands. Such mushrooms prefer poplars, firs and dense shrubs. Often instances are found in forests that are located in the suburbs.
2. Mushrooms can be found near residential buildings and even in summer cottages. Considered fruiting bodies prefer soil that is saturated with organic residues. At the same time, such fungi rarely bear fruit and grow mainly alone.
3. Instances are widespread on the southern shore of Lake Baikal, southern Siberia, in Buryatia, the European part of Russia, Central Asia, the Primorsky Territory, Lithuania, North Africa and America. Fruiting occurs from mid to late summer. In addition, it is extremely difficult to detect a mushroom in Russia, it is rare.
4. A double net-nose grows just like in the soil, just like an ordinary egg-shaped jelly. Many external factors are somewhat similar to a raincoat mushroom. In common people, the specimens in question are called a “witch's egg”.

Edibility

1. It is worth noting that the fruiting bodies under consideration at an early stage of development belong to edible specimens of the 4th category. Mushrooms are eaten when they are at the egg stage. The problem is that such fruiting bodies are listed in the Red Book.
2. The rest of the mushrooms showed themselves well in the treatment of gout and rheumatism. The mushroom egg can be fried. Also, fruits in this form are freed from the shell and eaten raw. In this case, it is enough to season the mushroom with sour cream and salt.
3. Older fruits are not edible due to the pungent and unpleasant aroma. If you suddenly find such a mushroom yourself, you are very lucky. Such a find is considered a wild rarity. Despite the fact that the fungus is edible, it is better to leave it untouched. The fact is that such fruits are forbidden to collect throughout Russia.
