The tomato variety "Orange Elephant" received its name for a reason. The fruits of this hybrid are large and have an unusual orange color for a tomato. This variety was bred specifically for the difficult, harsh conditions of the northern territories. It can develop equally well in different conditions: in a greenhouse and in open ground.

Tomatoes do not require special care. However, before growing this variety, it is worth knowing about its main characteristics and features.

It is easy to find the Orange Elephant variety among other tomatoes: the fruits are quite large in size and similar in shape to the head of an elephant. Orange is also found in other varieties, for example, German Strawberry. However, it is impossible to confuse them.

Preventive measures against pests and diseases

So that pests do not start on bushes, they carry out prophylaxis. To do this, use:

• potassium permanganate,
• pieces of soap dissolved in water (preferably household soap),
• garlic,
• infusion of insect repellent herbs.
