Tomato Pugovka - description and characteristics of the variety

Tomatoes are a valuable vegetable crop, which is very popular among summer residents and vegetable growers. Many species and varieties have been developed that differ in shape, size and taste. Variety Pugovka refers to stunted and precocious plants. It is grown in a greenhouse, on open ground, used to decorate balconies and window sills. Tomatoes are great for fresh consumption and for all types of preservation.

Grade characteristics

Strong low bushes with bright green leaves reach a height of about 60 cm. Plants do not require tying to supports, no need to pick off extra leaves and stepsons. Inflorescences are fastened quickly, bushes bear fruit abundantly, ripening occurs unevenly. Tomatoes grow with simple brushes, 12-15 fruits each. On one bush there are 3-4 brushes. The average weight of a tomato varies from 20-25 grams. Under favorable growing conditions, 3 to 4 kg of tomato can be obtained from the bush.

The fruits are aromatic and tasty, have a sweet taste. When fully ripened, they acquire a bright red tint. Tomato, due to its small size, is often used to decorate various dishes. Growing Features

Sowing of seeds is carried out in March. Before sowing, you need to prepare planting material, soil and a suitable container. The soil purchased at the store does not need to be processed. If the land is taken from the garden, it must be mixed with peat and humus and disinfected. To do this, the soil is calcined in the oven at high temperature for 2-3 hours. Such measures will help to destroy harmful insects, which are also carriers of diseases. You can simply fill the ground with hot water. Sowing seeds is allowed to be carried out immediately in separate pots, then seedlings will not need to be dived.

Seedlings are planted in a separate soil in June, 60-65 days after sowing seeds. On plants, 5-6 leaves should form. The distance between the seedlings is 40-50 cm. Complex additives are required in each well. During the growth and development of bushes, tomatoes need to be regularly fertilized. Sowing of seeds is carried out from the desired number of plants on the windowsill or balcony. 1-2 seeds are placed in the container. As soon as the seedlings reach a height of 5 cm, it must be planted in pots with a volume of about 3-4 liters. The soil needs to be mixed with mineral fertilizers. After planting, the pots are installed on the windowsill and the plants are constantly deployed to the light from all sides. If tomatoes are grown in winter, then additional illumination is required.
