Tomato belongs to very early, early ripening varieties of the determinant type, since from the moment of sowing to the time of ripening of tomatoes, 85-100 days pass. It is recommended for cultivation in areas of the Moscow region and where there are not enough warm summer days. It should be noted that this variety is not a hybrid, and therefore the seeds taken from the fruits actively grow and give a harvest.
Main characteristics:
- Bushes grow on open ground to a height of 30 to 35 cm, and in greenhouses can sometimes grow up to 80 cm.
- The stems are strong, strong, but thin.
- The variety belongs to the standard.
- The leaves are similar to potato, dark green.

The fruits of this tomato have the following characteristics:

- the flesh is oily inside;
- there are not many seeds inside the fruit;
- seed chambers inside each fetus are present in an amount of at least four;
- there is no green base;
- classic taste, slightly sour;
- they are not stored for long, but are easily transportable;
- fruits tolerate temperature fluctuations;
- the mass of each fetus fluctuates around fifty grams.
The fruits are used to prepare various vegetable salads, they are canned, salted.
Cultivation technique
Tomatoes of this variety grow in any region of Russia, in greenhouses, window sills, balconies and on the street. The main requirement for growing crops is to provide maximum lighting and heat. Basic tips for seedlings agrotechnics:
- Seeds must be applied to the soil around the beginning of spring. They should be placed in the soil to a depth of 1.5-2 cm. The soil for sowing is bought ready-made in the store or prepared independently by mixing in equal parts sand, earth, turf.
- Seed containers are stored in a lit room at a temperature of +20 - + 25C.
- Watering should be moderate, but regular, lukewarm water in the morning or late evening. In dry weather, watering is necessary daily. After each watering, it is necessary to loosen the soil around the bush.
- When the first pairs of leaves appear on the sprouted seedlings, you need to pick a depth of about 5 cm after heavy watering.
- If there are too many fruits on one bush, the twigs can break, and then the bush will still require a garter.
- Planting seedlings in unheated greenhouses, greenhouses or in open ground is necessary in early May. The stems are lowered into the soil to a depth of at least 10 cm, the distance between the bushes should be about 50 cm, and the rows are placed 30 cm from one another.
Diseases and Pests
Among the pests, the most dangerous for tomato caterpillars are scoops and whiteflies, as well as aphids with the Colorado potato beetle. And to save from pests "Schelkovo early" tomato will help modern chemicals: "Prestige", "Actofit" or "Regent".
