Hybrid Sunrise F1 refers to the determinant variety of tomatoes. The plant is distinguished by low compact bushes with moderate leaf cover. With proper agricultural technology, the bush reaches 60-80 centimeters in height. Sunrise is a universal variety of tomatoes, because it is grown in greenhouses, open ground, tubs on the balcony.
Description
Hybrid Sunrise belongs to varieties of early ripening. The pulp is medium density, juicy. An insignificant amount of seeds ripens in the seed chambers. The peel is soft, does not compact even when the tomato is overripe. The fruits are small, egg-shaped. With proper care, the weight of the fruit reaches 100-150 g.
The fruits are very tasty, without sourness, red. The hybrid is well suited for whole canning. Due to the thin, but dense skin, tomatoes tolerate temperature treatment well, do not fall apart, do not crack. Sunrise tomatoes can be used to prepare various dressings and additives containing tomato puree, such as:
- sauces;
- ketchups;
- dressings for soups.
Advantages and disadvantages
The most significant and almost the only drawback of this variety is the inability to collect planting material for subsequent cultivation on its site. A hybrid tomato is grown from seeds, however, the plant does not inherit the characteristics of the mother bush.
Benefits:
- precocity
- excellent taste;
- productivity;
- resistance to temperature extremes, various diseases.
The fruits acquire a red tint in the same period of time, which allows you to harvest the entire crop at a time.
Cultivation and care
Shoots are practically not affected by late blight.
- Experienced gardeners from their own experience have proved that with proper care from one bush, you can get from three and a half to four kilograms of raw materials. Bushes of this variety are distinguished by the power of shoots and unpretentiousness to growing conditions.
- Before planting, you need to check the germination of seeds. To do this, they are soaked in a five percent solution of sodium chloride. Floated seeds are removed, and those that remain at the bottom are used for sowing. Seeds are sown in pots or boxes, covered with glass or plastic wrap. Shoots appear on the 7-9th day. After the appearance of 3 real leaves, seedlings are dived.
- For young seedlings, temperature and humidity are very important. Overmoistening of the soil should not be allowed. FROM high humidity can develop the disease "black leg". From time to time, young plants are aired.
- Strong roots are formed in the potted seedlings, the plants take root well in the open ground after transplantation. After 15 days, seedlings are fed with urea. It is recommended to build temporary film shelters to protect seedlings from spring back frosts.
- Tomato Sunrise forms compact bushes, so plants can be planted at a distance of 50 cm from each other.
- Watering is carried out in the morning and in the evening under the root. The soil under the bushes is mulched with humus or straw with sawdust.
Sunrise F1 is a productive and unpretentious hybrid. Fruits are suitable for whole-canning. Due to the thin, but dense skin, tomatoes are well transported.
