Historical reference

Vyzhla is considered a descendant of the Hungarian gundog, the first mention of the ancestors of the breed is dated to the X century. Hungarian chronicles mention magnificent hunting individuals who coped well with the pen of a hare and other small / medium sized game. Previously, it was these animals that inhabited the plains of the state.

Breed description

1. According to external data, dogs are compared with the elite, since the breed is admired by others and the owner in particular. Glossy wool, harmoniously folded body, peace-loving eyes - this and much more coexist in one purebred individual.
2. The dogs are 54–64 cm in height. There is no gender superiority in this regard. Dogs with bitches are almost equal. The main condition in the external data is a wool coat with a golden tint and an aristocratic look.
3. The case is harmoniously folded, slightly elongated, in a rectangular format. The sternum is deep and medium in width. The edges are rounded and elongated. The back is straight, the same can be said about the lower back. Croup sloping, strong.
