Until recently, people did not realize that gelatin could be used for cosmetic purposes. Previously, the composition was used exclusively in cooking. The benefits of gelatin for hair
- In the process of applying gelatin immediately sets, enveloping each hair. When the shock is warmed, under the influence of the vapor effect, the composition penetrates deep into the structure. Hair is treated from the inside, saturated with moisture and vitamins that make up gelatin.
- The contained protein strengthens the hair, makes it shiny, eliminates static electricity. In the case of a curly shock, curls are smoothed and take a beautiful shape (they stop puffing in all directions).
- Regardless of the type of hair, hair is exposed to negative factors. If you use gelatin masks at least 3 times a week, the strands will be covered with a protective film. Curls will not dry out in the summer, and break in the winter.
- Many people know the lamination procedure, which is carried out in beauty salons for fabulous money. Thanks to gelatin, the same effect can be achieved at home. Minor food costs will not affect the family budget. In addition, the hair is not exposed to chemicals.
- The gelatin contains glycine, starch, amino acids and vitamins of almost all groups. These components make the hair silky, normalize the release of subcutaneous fat. Ladies with oily hair will no longer have to wash their hair every day.
To achieve maximum results, masks must be done about 3-4 times a month. If you have dry hair, do not choose recipes with aggressive ingredients (chili pepper, vinegar, lemon juice).
Olive oil and glycerin
- Combine 60 ml. olive oil with 30 gr. glycerin (sold at the pharmacy). In another bowl, dilute 30 g with hot water. gelatin. Let the mixture stand for a third of an hour, then mix it with glycerin and oil.
- Introduce a little hair balm to dilute the texture. The mass should become cloudy. Make sure your hair is dry and combed. Distribute the product throughout the entire pile, carefully working out the basal part and ends.
- The exposure time depends on the amount of free time. It is allowed to use the mask for 1-3 hours. For convenience and reducing the duration, you need to insulate the hair with a film.
- The product is removed in the usual way using shampoo. The mask is ideal for ladies with dry hair, girls with a fatty type should be included in the composition of 30 ml. lemon juice.
Mineral water and castor oil
- Take 40 gr. gelatin, fill it with 80 g. sparkling mineral water. Preheat the composition in the microwave for 20 seconds, turn off the device, mix the contents.
- The main condition for cooking is considered a homogeneous consistency. The composition should not be solid granules. Now allow the gelatin to cool to a temperature of 30 degrees.
- Pour a few tablespoons of castor (can be replaced with burdock) oil, add 1 ml. Vitamin E or B3.Preheat the mixture to 35 degrees, in this state, apply to dry combed hair.
- Wrap film over your head or put on a plastic bag. Warm yourself with a towel. Masks with natural oils should be aged for at least 1.5 hours. If you have more time, take advantage of this.
- After a specified period, the product is washed off with water with the addition of lemon juice (1 ml of liquid accounts for 50 ml of juice). It is the last component that helps wash the oil.
Milk and Vitamin A
- Heat 80 ml. fat milk to 55-60 degrees, do not boil the composition. Pour 30 g. gelatin, start to mix slowly. Remove grains from the sides of the bowl, wait for the granules to dissolve.
- Let the mask stand for a third of an hour, then pour in 2 ampoules of vitamin A (can be replaced by group E). Make sure your hair is dry. Comb them with a wooden comb.
- Scoop the composition with a foam sponge or brush for coloring, evenly distribute it in locks. Pay due attention to the ends, especially if they are split.
- Keep the mask under plastic wrap and a towel for 40-50 minutes. After all the manipulations, rinse the product with warm water with the addition of apple cider vinegar (1 ml of liquid contains 30 ml of the composition).
Dimexide and pharmacy vitamins
- Almost no home mask is complete without ampoule vitamins. You need to purchase a liquid composition of group A, B2, B11 or E.
- Mix 2 ml. selected vitamin with 25 ml. the drug "Dimexidum". Add 3 egg yolks here, develop the composition with a fork until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
- In another bowl, dilute 15 g. gelatin 60 ml. warm (almost hot) water. Stir the mask with a fork so that the grains completely melt. Wait until the mask cools, then add it to the vitamins.
- Apply the product on dirty, dry hair, no need to wrap it with a film. Keep the mask on your hair for at least 25 minutes, then rinse with water and shampoo.
- In addition, you can rinse the mop with a decoction of nettle and yarrow, the plants are mixed in the same proportions. This move will save moisture in the hair structure.
Honey and Chicken Yolk
- The mask is ideal for owners of blond hair. Take 50 gr. camomile color, make 175 ml. boiling water, let it brew for 40 minutes. Strain through cheesecloth or sieve, pour gelatin into the broth.
- Begin to slowly stir the composition with a fork or stick, collect granules from the walls of the container. Wait for the gelatin to dissolve completely and thicken (about 25 minutes).
- If the composition is still liquid, put it in the microwave for 20 seconds. Melt, then mix again and let cool to room temperature.
- Cool 3 chicken yolks (amount per medium hair), inject them into gelatin. Stir the mixture with a fork. The whisk or mixer should not be used because unnecessary foam will appear.
- Now enter 45 gr. honey (not sugared), knead until smooth. Cover the bowl with cling film, leave the mask for 10-15 minutes.
- Now comb the hair, starting at the ends, moving towards the roots. Use a sponge or fingers to distribute the composition over the scalp and the entire length.
- Build a cap of cling film and a warm towel to create a vapor effect. Hold the mask for at least 45 minutes, then start rinsing.
- The composition is recommended for girls with dry hair. Especially if the shock is often subjected to staining, perm, and other harmful procedures. Frequency of use - 4 times a week.
Henna and oil
- Melt on a stove or in a microwave 50-60 g. butter. In a separate bowl, dilute 30 g. gelatin 75 ml. hot water. Stir, wait until swelling.
- Combine the oil with gelatin, add a few egg yolks and 30 ml. cosmetic oil (any natural). Now dilute a bag (45 gr.) Of henna according to the instructions, pour into the previous mixture.

Mustard and egg

- In another bowl, dilute with warm water 25 g. gelatin, start mixing until the grains dissolve. If the granules do not melt, then the liquid is not hot enough.
- Combine the diluted mustard with the gelatin mixture, let the composition stand for half an hour. When this time comes to an end, introduce 4 chicken yolks into the mass.
- Stir vigorously with a fork to mix the egg with other ingredients. Now comb your hair, moisten it with warm water, squeeze out excess moisture.
- Apply the entire composition to wet curls. If you have dry hair, do not touch your scalp. Owners of the fatty and combined type need to cover the mass and the basal area.
- The mask is held under a cap made of polyethylene and heated towel iron. It is this aspect that will allow the composition to penetrate the structure of the hair under the influence of a steam effect.

- Mix 30 gr. gelatin with 20 gr. ground sea salt without dyes and fragrances. Pour 70 ml. hot water, mix. After 30 minutes, add 45 ml. sea buckthorn oil.
- You can replace the last component with olive, castor, burdock (any cosmetic). When half an hour has passed, add a teaspoon of baby shampoo, shake the composition.
- Dampen the hair, distribute the product over it, foam well. Rub only into the scalp and hair until mid-length. Separate the ends with oil.
- Put on a bag or wrap your head in cling film. Heat the towel with an iron, wrap it with hair. Keep the mask for 1 hour, in addition, you can warm the mop with a hairdryer.
- The product is washed off first with water and shampoo, then a balm is applied. The composition normalizes the production of sebum, so it is more appropriate to use it for girls with oily hair.
Kefir and brewer's yeast
- Take 60 gr. fat yogurt, heat it in the microwave. Pour 25 g. gelatin, stir immediately. The grains should melt completely.
- In another bowl, mix 20 g. beer or baker's yeast with 70 ml. warm water. Bring the mass to homogeneity, let stand for 25 minutes. After this time, add the first composition to the second.
- Add to the total mass of 40 gr. hair balm, distribute the composition over the locks. Work your tips well if they are split.
- Hold the mass for about half an hour, then remove in the usual way. The procedure is convenient to carry out while taking a bath, as the composition will drain onto the neck and shoulders.
Starch and yogurt
- Boil 50 ml. water, pour in gelatin in the amount of 30 g., immediately mix. When the crystals dissolve, leave the mass to cool to a temperature of 35 degrees.
- In a separate bowl, mix 20 g. baker's yeast, 10 gr. corn starch and 80 ml. yogurt. Let the mass swell, then add 3 chicken yolks.
- Add the first composition to the second, comb the hair. Scoop the mask with a sponge or brush, spread over the roots. Rub well into the scalp, stretch to the ends.
- Leave the mask for 40 minutes under the film and towel, then proceed to rinse. To restore hair, use the product every 3 days.
Activated Carbon and Onion Juice
- The mask is designed for brown and black hair.The amount of activated carbon should be selected based on the length of the hair (to the shoulders, to the shoulder blades, to the lower back). You need 5, 8, 12 tablets, respectively.
- Grind the preparation into powder using a coffee grinder or two tablespoons. Add a little water so that the grains finally dissolve.
- In another bowl, combine 45 ml. warm (closer to hot) water with 25 gr. gelatin and 30 ml. onion juice. Ladies with long hair will have to increase the proportion by 2 times.
- Let the gelatin swell, then add dissolved activated carbon. The main thing is to introduce the absorbent into a liquid at room temperature. Distribute the product over the hair, leave for 20 minutes.
- Rinse with plenty of water and shampoo. Coal does not stain the strands much, but cleaning procedures are best done 3 times. Manipulation ends with the use of balm.
Bread and lemon
- Remove the crust from 2 slices of brown or gray bread. Break the crumb into pieces, pour hot milk. Wait 20 minutes, squeeze the milk, dilute 45 g in it. gelatin.
